Road America is seeking an individual with a passion for racing to be part of the Guest Services/Security teamThe Guest Services/Security position is responsible for ensuring safety in several different areas and conducting routine patrolsThe Guest Services/Security assumes a proactive role in keeping the facility safeThis is a part-time seasonal worker position from April - OctoberKey Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
As part of the Security team, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and positive mannerProvide information and guidance to Road America guests and ensure the safety of our employees and customers by enforcing the rules of Road AmericaYou will patrol the facility to prevent and detect security concernsYou will monitor the entrance and departure of employees and guestsYou will provide excellent customer service to guests by fielding inquiries and maintaining a friendly, safe environmentQualifications :
All candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, must have the ability to multitask, advanced people skills, the ability to diffuse situations, and the ability to assist with crowd controlFlexible scheduling is needed as shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidaysWork Environment/Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands to operate equipmentThe employee is subject to the outside environment conditions such as cold weather or extreme heatAlso, you are subjected to noise and fast-moving objectsYou must have the ability to lift at least 25 lbsoccasionallyHours :
Shifts are 6:
00 a.m- 6:
00 p.m(or until closing - typically by 7:
00 p.m.) for day shifts, and 6:
00 p.m- 6:
