This assistant will work with our team of experienced dental assistants to support our Doctors' and hygienists' patient schedules.
The ideal candidate must be a fast learner, energetic and highly motivated.
The ability to:
work in a fast moving environment, anticipate dentist and co-worker needs, take initiative to complete tasks without being asked and function as part of a team, are must have skills.
Candidates should have completed an accredited dental assisting program.
Qualified candidates should submit a current CV/resume and references.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Doctors in all aspects of patient care.
Maintain hygiene schedule by seating patients, x-ray capture, operatory cleaning and set up.
Perform routine dental assistant services:
operatory cleaning and set up, sterilization, dental laboratory preparations, routine equipment maintenance, management of supplies, assist hygiene, provide administrative support and assist the dentist with a wide variety of procedures.
Proper x-ray capture, including bitewings, full mouth series, digital pan and CBCT when necessary to support appropriate patient diagnosis and treatment.
Ongoing patient education regarding good oral hygiene and procedures.
Documentation of all treatment, patient concerns and doctor findings.
Professional presentation of patient history and findings to doctor.
Proper infection control Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
This position will be 4 days a week.
Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:
00am to 5:
00pm.
