About Us:
We operate two beautiful camp properties, Camp Evelyn in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and Camp Manitou in Shoto, Wisconsin.
Camp Evelyn has over 240 acres of forest with access to Crystal Lake and the Mullet River.
Camp Manitou has over 140 acres of forest with access to the West Twin River and our own beautiful Serenity Lake.
Each summer over 1,000 girls, attend camp.
Girls have the option of staying just for the day or overnight.
The camping season starts in June and goes through the end of August.
This is a seasonal position.
Job Description:
The activity coordinator's primary duties include ensuring all programming is set up, delivered, and staffed.
They will be the primary individual leading instruction for arts and crafts, sports, and all camp activities.
The activity coordinator will need to deliver programming according to premade schedules and provide adjustments to the schedules as they see fit.
Finalized schedules will need to be printed and handed out to staff members no later than the Friday before the session start date.
The activity coordinator will also be responsible for ordering supplies within a budget.
Supplies should be ordered no later than the Friday before the session start date.
Secondary duties will include lifeguarding (if applicable), providing breaks for staff on an as-needed basis, assisting with another activity set-up, and cleaning up activity areas.
The activity coordinator will oversee the activity specialists and ensure that they are performing their duties accordingly.
The activity coordinator should meet with the activity specialists on a weekly basis and take part in creating their weekly schedules.
Job Duties:
Print and handout schedules each week no later than the Friday prior to the session start date Check all areas of camp for needed supplies.
Order adequate supplies that are needed to complete activities if we do not already have the supplies at camp.
Record all receipts and check status of the budget weekly Lead arts and crafts activities when possible.
For activities you cannot lead, assign staff members and activity specialists to those activities.
Consider the talents, physical capabilities, and staff preferences when placing staff members Lead and participate in all all-camp activities Organize and prepare all materials needed for activities on a daily basis - activities should be set-up and ready to go prior to camper's arrival Oversee activity specialists and meet with them on a weekly basis to ensure that everyone knows what they need to do Create detailed examples for all arts and crafts projects.
Ensure instructions are available in an easy to understand format Create back-up plans in the event of severe weather or other circumstances that prevent certain activities from taking place When time, assist unit staff and provide breaks to unit staff as needed Certification Requirements:
Valid Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent preferred Archery level 1 certification or equivalent preferred Must have valid US driver's license Camp can provide all certifications.
All online work for certifications provided by camp must be completed no later than two prior to the start of staff training Job Types:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
